Impact and opportunity abound in 2025, as this year welcomes the first Generation Beta babies, born between 2025 and 2039.
Together with Gen Alphas born 2010-2024, both are included in “Generation Glass,” kids born into ever-present technology.
Maybe AI will answer all those, “How does it work?” and “Why?” questions for Gen Beta parents (millennials).
What is your plan for 2025? For most of us, success, relationships and integrity are key to life’s happiness and meaning. Influencing Gen Alpha and soon Gen Beta’s is a worthy strategy for improving the future.
In the next 100 days, what will you do? I will continue making things better than when received. Just as I learned in my first few thousand days of life, I’ll model these behaviors to others. Helping people learn how to learn, so they can have the impact and influence in the world of tomorrow that will make a difference.
I built radios with vacuum tubes, Gen Alpha’s print Barbie shoes and articulated dinosaurs to sell on-line. Boomers watched Road Runner cartoons on one of 3 over-the-air TV network channels on Saturday mornings. VR lets Gen Alpha’s ride a dinosaur on the moon and be home for lunch.
I was excited when we got a “pipe” for city water rather than well water. My grandkids are excited to get “fiber” for their “digital pipe”; they stream terabytes of content monthly.
Our Blood Institute here in Wichita Falls really needs your donation; give an hour. Their treats are great and you’ll enjoy the time to relax. In less than 3 days, your blood can improve another person’s health and life!
Helping a Gen Alpha senior write his scholarship essay, I read “Laws are written by old dead guys.” He wants to be a lawyer making a difference for those who don’t have a voice.
I’ve learned he got a full scholarship to University of Chicago1. Our nation’s senators, 2 per state, serve staggered 6-year terms. It takes at least a generation to get a leadership role, usually more than 14 years. The average time to pass a bill (law) in the Senate is 7 years and the average Senator serves 11 years.
We need elected leaders with the passion, intelligence, creativity and integrity to lead us to our best potential as a nation and people. Help me grow our future citizens.
Make a world your mother would love. Treat others as you would be.
